FEATURED MEMBER STORY

HTSM like HTP (Healing Touch Program) uses hands-on healing, but with the addition of prayer and anointing. HTSM addresses all aspects of healing—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  HTSM follows the Christian tradition, sending us to heal with the same instructions Jesus gave his disciples.  We become the connection between God’s healing grace and the one to be healed.

In my work I often find clients who are not comfortable with the ideas of energy work, chakras, auras, etc.  However, these same clients are more than willing for me to lay-on-hands, pray and anoint.  The work is the same either way and with both approaches to draw on, more people are reached.  While I use techniques from both programs, the HTSM techniques seem to speak to me more.

Through the aromatherapy program of ISHA (Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy—the mother institute of HTSM and CCA-- Certified Clinical Aromatherapist), I have become a certified clinical aromatherapist as well.  The benefits to myself and to my clients have been enormous.  Understanding the healing power of essential oils (eo) has added an important dimension to my practice.  Now when I do hands-on healing, I can add anointing with oils for just about any need.  This combination has made a tremendous difference in the outcome of my clients’ healing process.  For example, using the eo blend Release, I have seen clients become able to let go of emotional patterns that had manifested themselves physically—thereby healing at both levels.

I believe everyone interested in healing, including HTP practitioners and instructors and persons from other energy modalities, could benefit from taking classes from the ISHA program.

Holiday Party successful

By Marty Elmer, Treasurer

On November 30th the HTET group met at In Good Hands Energy Healing Center in Bearden for their November Meeting/Fun-d Raising Holiday Party in support of HTET.

Everyone brought gifts and food and guests. Gifts to be used for our fund-raising raffle. Food and lots of it for all to enjoy. Guests to introduce to HTET and for all to get acquainted with. Raffle tickets were sold and each participant placed a ticket in a bag beside the gift item that she/he hoped to win. After good food and fellowship the drawings took place with many lovely gifts drawn. We had several non members who visited with us and our hope is that we will see them again soon. We were extremely happy that WE RAISED $396.00.!

HEARTS BEAUTIFULLY STATED

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
