Our Mission

HTET is an organization of local Healing Touch practitioners who are interested in promoting healing through energy work.

HTET is a professional organization of Healing Touch practitioners and student providers. HTET provides education and is a resource center for Healing Touch practitioners, students, other health care professionals, and the general public. HTET provides support and a networking system for Healing Touch practitioners in East Tennessee. Practitioners of Healing Touch who are educated through the Healing Touch ProgramTM, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry or Healing Touch International are governed by a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as publicized by the above organizations. Benefits of Membership

The benefits include but are not limited to:

  1. Quarterly Board meetings open to the general membership. The board may call additional meetings if necessary.
  2. Educational presentations.
  3. Opportunity for Healing Touch support through networking, meetings, and outreach.
  4. Optional listing in HTET practitioner directory (Level 4 and above) distributed to the public on the Web site.
  5. HTET members’ directory and by-laws.
  6. Discounts on admissions to HTET programs and selected workshops.
  7. Quarterly newsletter containing meetings, speakers, conferences, and other announcements.

Type of Membership 

Active Membership: Students, all practitioners of Healing Touch and/or Spiritual Ministry Healing Touch Cost: $35

Associate Membership: Healthcare professionals or professionals in other Fields that encourage the practice of Healing Touch in the Medical Community Cost: $35

Honorary Membership: Supportive patrons who may or may not be active practitioners and have contributed $100 or more to HTET Cost: $100 or more
